"Expédition scientifique de Gumba" officially is a scientific expedition on the look-out for the remains of ancient civilisations. Henri van Laakdikten, it's leader, and expert archaeologist, ethnologist and historian, travels through Africa in the service of King Leopold of Belgium. Besides the scientific discoveries though, financial gain and social prestige are non-neglectable motives for Professor van Laakdikten.
The expedition is based in the northern port of Gabamba. Henri is travelling with his wife Bernadette, his son, Captain Korkov and his first mate as well as his Turkish translator.
Because this expedition is of a non-military nature (at least officially), Henri is forced to recruit Arabian Askaris from the coast as well as some local warriors and porters.

Very nice and a very interesting campaign. Look forward to seeing more. For the English speaking perhaps you could install a Google translate widget on your blog, as I have done on my own.

Hi Frank, I think the Doc will translate the posts step by step. His english is much better than mine and I think it will also be much better than with an automatic translator.
Delete[If we find out he's to lazy and only thinking about his girlfriend all time, we will think about it again! ;) ]
